BAMBOO removal IN Staffordshire

Bamboo is one of the most common garden plants – it is fast growing and has a distinctive look. However, the quick growth of bamboo, as well as the pattern the roots grow in to, can cause damage to patios, driveways, fence lines and other plants in both yours and your neighbours’ garden. We have been dealing with Bamboo removal in Staffordshire and the surrounding area for over 25 years.

Bamboo Removal in Staffordshire

After dealing with bamboo removal in Staffordshire along with a range of invasive weeds for over 25 years, our recommendation is to eradicate all growth of Invasive Bamboo from a site. By excavating and removing the bamboo, this will ensure any traces of the plant are also removed to help prevent it from returning.

Japanese Knotweed Expert provide a bamboo removal service for spreads of all sizes. From small residential areas to large commercial sites, our team of experts will be able to assist you no matter how big or small the issue.

Bamboo Excavation

Our method of excavation and removal of bamboo in Staffordshire would involve our team of professionals attending the property with the appropriate machinery and tools. The bamboo would all be cut to ground level and the canes would be disposed of off-site. Following this, all of the rhizomes underground would be removed and disposed of off-site.

Once all of the bamboo has been removed from the site, our team will level the ground with fresh material leaving it ready to be re-landscaped.

Post excavation, we provide 4 follow up visits with herbicidal treatments included to ensure the long-term removal. **All prices are calculated on a case-by-case basis, any costs provided above are estimates only.**

Bamboo can fall in to two categories (based on the root growth pattern) – clumping and running bamboo. Clumping bamboo tends to grow to be thicker and, should you wish for it to be removed, the entire root ball would need to be removed. We recommend excavating this type of bamboo carefully to ensure this has been completely removed.

Root Growth Patterns

Bamboo can fall in to two categories (based on the root growth pattern):

1. Clumping Bamboo – tends to grow to be thicker and, should you wish for it to be removed, the entire root ball would need to be removed. We recommend excavating this type of bamboo carefully to ensure this has been completely removed.

2. Running Bamboo – Running bamboo has a root pattern that spreads out widely and is more likely to cause structrual damage to anything located in the surrounding area. The roots from this bamboo are also more likely to cross boundaries. To remove this, we would recommend a more thorough excavation or chemical treatment to eradicate the plant entirely.
